How do I register for a course?

  • Create New Account: In order to register or get full access to courses first time Users will need to create an account.  Upon creating an account, an email will be sent requiring you to verify your email address.
  • Verify your email address: To verify your email address just click on the link contained in the email you receive. Once you verify your email address, you will be logged in and ready to register for a course or redeem a token if one has been issued to you.

 

How do I login to the Carswell Professional Development Centre?

  • Login using the email address and password you used when creating your account. 

 

How do I know my purchase has been completed successfully? 

  • Upon submitting your order, you will immediately receive an email from Carswell Professional Development Centre containing your credit card receipt or order confirmation. If you do not receive this email please check your spam folder or Contact Us. To ensure you get all of our emails, please add our email address to your safelist: cpd.centre@thomsonreuters.com

 

Upon registering for a course, what should I expect?

  • You will receive an email with your credit card receipt or order confirmation attached.
  • Upon approval of your order you will receive an email confirming your registration along with course details.
  • For live events, you will receive reminder notification(s) prior to the event with a direct link to the meeting.
  • For live events, the course certificate will be emailed to attendees after the event is over.
  • For on-demand webinars, you can retrieve your course certificate by going to My Account / My Courses and selecting course.  On this page you will find a link to access your certificate after viewing the webinar. Upon viewing certificate it will be emailed to you.

 

I registered for a course but haven’t received any information on how to access the event.

  • An email with instructions was sent to you at the time of registration.  Please check your spam folder.  To ensure you get all of our emails, please add our email address to your safelist: cpd.centre@thomsonreuters.com
  • If you have misplaced this information please login and go to My Account / My Courses and select your course.  On this page you will find a direct link to the meeting.  Need help?  Contact Us.

 

I registered for an on-demand webinar how long do I have to view it?

  • Go to My Account / My courses and select course.  On this page you will find viewing information.

 

I missed the event can I get access to the recording?

 

I won’t be able to attend, can I get a refund?

  • Webinars: We have a no refund policy however we can give you access to the recorded webinar. Contact Us.
  • In-Class events: Partial refunds are available. Contact Us for details.

 

How do I update my email address, password and contact information?

  • Login with your email and password. Forgot password?
  • From top navigation menu select My Account / My Profile or Change Password

 

I misplaced my receipt or order confirmation.  How do I get a copy? 

  • Login with your email address and password. Forgot password?
  • From top navigation menu select My Account/ My Orders.  From the Orders page select the Transaction ID tab.  Click the View link located under the Receipt header. You may view or save to your computer.

 

I requested to be billed but have not received my invoice. 

 

I didn’t receive my course certificate after attending the live event. 

  • Login with your email address and password. Forgot password?
  • Go to My Account / My Courses and select course.  On the course page, you will see an option to download certificate.

 

How do I register other people at my firm?

  • Buy token(s) to register on behalf of someone else. Upon approval of your order you will receive an email containing your token id(s) which you can distribute to your staff.  Please note, new Users will need to create an account before a token can be redeemed.

 

How do I redeem a token?

  • Enter token id in the Redeem Token section located at top right corner of the website.
  •  Upon redeeming the token, Users will get an email with course details and/or a direct link to the event. Please note, new Users will need to create an account before a token can be redeemed.

 

I have misplaced my email containing token id(s).  How can I access my tokens?

  • Login with your email and password. Forgot password?
  • From top navigation menu select My Account/ My Orders. Click the View link located under Tokens.

 

How do I access courses I have purchased?

  • Login with your email and password. Forgot password?
  • Go to My Account/ My Courses and select your course. On this page you will have access to the event, course material and your course certificate.

 

I registered for a live program, but forgot to write down the date and time. Where can I find this information?

  • Login with your email and password. Forgot password?
  • Go to My Account/ My Courses and select your course.

  

Under My Orders, beside product name I see “In Cart”.  What does that mean?

  • Your registration was not complete.  Proceed to checkout to complete your registration or delete from shopping cart to remove course from My Orders.
